Young writer Mahima Gantayat’s first Hindi poetry collection “An Kahi Baaten ” launched

Rayagada, July 4: The first book and Hindi poetry collection “An Kahi Baaten” by young writer Mahima Gantayat from the prominent literary family of Rayagada has been officially launched. Published by the publishing house ‘Aditya Bharat’ in Cuttack, the book was presented to the public in a very simple and unpretentious manner at Hotel Alishan in Koraput.
The writer’s father, renowned poet and columnist Satyanarayan Gantayat, released the book and blessed his daughter Mahima. He also thanked the readers, various magazines and literary forums who have supported Mahima’s literary journey since childhood.
On this occasion, Mahima’s mother Reena Gantayat, elder sister Sai Santoshini Gantayat and brother-in-law Sushobhanta Sahu were present and congratulated him. The family said that this book has been published only because of Mahima’s dedicated creative efforts and hard work during last summer.
Reacting, writer Mahima Gantayat said:
”I have always written for my readers.The books in the home library and the library of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rayagada attracted me to writing literature. I am following in the footsteps of my father, my paternal aunt, the prolific writer Nirmala Gantayat, and my paternal uncle, the prolific comic writer Gantayat Shibprasad. This creative legacy of our family is my biggest inspiration.” She said that she is very happy that the dream of launching this book in the presence of her family has come true today.
The family has expressed gratitude to the chief and prominent author and publisher of ‘Aditya Bharat’, Debashish Samantraya, and all his collaborators for the beautiful and well-decorated publication of the book. It is hoped that this book will find favor with the readers and it has been informed that it will soon be available for the readers through the famous online shopping platform Amazon.
