Environment Day Celebrated at NTPC Northern Region Headquarters

Lucknow:NTPC Northern Region Headquarters celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm under the theme, “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.” The event underscored NTPC’s commitment to environmental sustainability and ecological awareness.
On the occasion, Shri Rajesh Jha, AGM (TS), administered the Environment Day Pledge in the presence of senior officials and employees. The message of the Director (Operations), NTPC Limited, on World Environment Day was also shared for wider dissemination among employees.
As part of the celebrations, tree saplings were planted within the office premises to promote afforestation and enhance green cover.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Vipul Srivastava, AGM (Environment Management/OS), highlighted the significance of World Environment Day and the importance of collective action towards environmental conservation. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from employees, reflecting their strong commitment to protecting and preserving the environment.
