Berhampur BeMC Enforcement action against a private Hospital

Berhampur,(07/0/26):Berhampur municipal corporation enforcement wing taken against a hospital at Ayodhya nagar in Berhampur city.
On Thursday the resident of Ayodhya nagar met new commissioner alleged that ad life Hospital do not have any parking facility so the hospital visitors are use the main road for parking use as a result the local commuters, school students, facing difficulties for ease communication.(!).
Considering the grievance commissioner Sushree Sasya reddy,IAS. directed the enforcement team to rush the spot ths evening and to make ground zero inspection.
The team realise when verified the papas of the hospital they found maximum irregularities. The building construction which violating the approved norms plan completely mismatching, misusing the parking space for some other use while completely using the road for his parking use. Today the wing imposed penalty of Rs.20,00/-.
Matter came to lime light when the irreulartity of construction, parking but here we quesitioned for public interest “what the engineers are doing till yesterday (? Or by seating in a AC cabin then and there plan is approved ith a cup of coffee, subsequentey followed by lunch no need to site visit during construction (?). everything in papers.

Few months before govt. Transferred him from BeMC to BeDA but reluctant not to move(?)
We came to know from reliable source why he is not getting relived and resume to his of new assignment, (?) factually while got the smoke that he too a sleeping partner of 2/3 road contractor(?) waiting for bill approval. Interesting the day transfer order of IAS officer news came without waiting for pending bill clearance managed by means to get relieved himself without any delay overnight joined at BeDA in anticipation of “ apprehensions cannot be ruled out”.
In reaction Commissioner said wait and watch what is going to happen against violators. The further inquiry process was in pipe line. the 20K penalty just like a token. During the process of inquiry he may pay more penalty if found guilty.Ths is just start it’s a continuous process .
Notably,As of March 2026, the Odisha government HUD and health department has directed to take strict action against private hospitals violating norms, (BeDA),(BeMC with multiple hospitals in the City. under which action may be imposed and their licence may be suspended for violation of infrastructure .
Specific actions include penalties for operating without proper registration or in violation of building guidelines, ensuring compliance with established, safe healthcare infrastructure standards.
.The intellectuals of the city given a bad remark the civil engineering wing of BDA, BMC working still with their 5T blood group not yet changed.. Ofcource commissioner madam stared blood change process from Executive Engineer(!).
