CBSE Class 10 Results 2026 Declared, Pass Percentage at 93.70% as Girls Outperform Boys

New Delhi:The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday announced the Class 10 results for 2026, recording an impressive overall pass percentage of 93.70%.

While the official websites remain temporarily inactive, the board has facilitated immediate access to digital marksheets via the DigiLocker and UMANG platforms.

This year’s performance shows a marginal improvement over the 2025 pass percentage of 93.66%.

Out of the 23 lakh students who appeared for the examination, Trivandrum and Vijayawada emerged as the top-performing regions, both clocking a near-perfect pass rate of 99.79%.

They were closely followed by Chennai at 99.58% and Bengaluru at 98.91%.

To access scores, students can log in to results.cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in using their roll number, school code and admit card ID once the portals are live.

The digital marksheet provided online is provisional and includes subject-wise grades and qualifying status, with original certificates to be issued by respective Apr 15, 2026

The board has also released comprehensive data regarding gender-wise distribution and the performance of Children With Special Needs (CWSN).

In case of heavy web traffic, students are advised to utilize SMS or IVRS services to check their qualifying status.
