Berhampur Police Unveils Arms & Bomb Disposal Unit Exhibition at Berhampur Silk Fest.

Berhampur,10/4/26: Today In a unique initiative to foster transparency and community engagement, for the first time the Berhampur Police is participated the Silk city fest with their innovative concept to have display weapons for people a three-day *Arms and Bomb Disposal Unit Exhibition.
The exhibition inaugurated by IG Police, Southern Range Shri Niti Sekhar IPS. In presence of huge gathering.
Addressing scribe Mr.NIiti Sekhar,IGP said, “We felt same will organise at other police district under the southern range . Today’s this event is an attempt to bring people closer to Odisha Police. We have displayed weapons for people let people understand “What Police doing for their security”.
Joining the inauguration District Collector, Ganjam V.Keerthi Vasan,IAS, said” the district , local administration and Berhampur district police have actively maintaining security, for our safe guard which this stall itself witness by citing an example as D.M with recent operations of police reported against illegal activity in district , such as the seizure of bombs othe arm and ammunition Ganjam and in the surrounding he added.

Briefing to Press said, the event primarily showcases at silk city fest but it’s a continuous schedule time to time so that the people can better understand.
