Sensitization for Women for their Dignified Lives

Paralakhemundi-At Higher Secondary School of Ramgiri of Gajapati district sensitization to grassroots women for their empowerment staged.

Principal Priyadarshini Patnaik presided, where Rakesh Kumar Sahu IPS SDPO RUdaygiri graced as chief guest; where Juvenile Justice Board Member Bhagyalaxmi Nayak,advocate Pramod Kumar Roul & woman activist Nirmala Patnaik as guests of honor.

Speakers sought on domestic violence, shadowed dowry jinx, child marriage & superstitions.

 To eradicate they were imparted on various Acts & Sections. Those Acts can stimulate them to come from their curtain to access on their responsibilities & decision making. 

SDPO Sahu drew attention by giving contact numbers to apprise women to address their core issues. At the outset a video on women issues shown to participants.

All women had taken oath to repeal from social hazards eg;to live with respect & dignity, address fearlessly their core issues  to squeeze stigmatization, to bring gender equity & abolished barriers on their socio-economic discrepancies, which will ensure their decision making role & join on governance too. 

About 200 women from nearest panchayats attended the program.
