DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL MCL, KALINGA AREA OBSERVES ANNUAL DAY CEREMONY

 Talcher:The DAV Public School MCL Kalinga Area Talcher celebrated its Annual Function on 26.03.2026 Thursday on the school premises.

The event was eagerly awaited by students and staff alike, as it is one of the most significant occasions in the school calendar.

Venerated general manager of MCL Hingula Area, Sunil Vasantrao Joshi joined the celebration as the chief guest. Mrs. Asmita Joshi graced the celebration as the guest of honour.

A number of eminent personalities of nearby localities became a part of the event including different labour union representatives, Principals of neighbouring DAVs and other reputed schools. The celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest Shri Joshi, followed by a welcome speech by the Principal Prashant Kumar Panda.

 The graphical presentation of the school annual report was crisp and precise that highlighted the efforts and achievements of the school throughout the year. The chief guest addressed the gathering by accentuating the importance of holistic education. The event featured a variety of cultural performances, including dance, music, and drama, showcasing the talents of our students.

One of the highlights of the evening was the special award distribution ceremony, where students were recognized for their academic and extracurricular achievements.

The cultural programs were well-received by the audience, and the enthusiasm of the participants was palpable. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the academic supervisor Mrs. Itishree Samal, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, teachers, students, and parents for their support and participation. Overall, the annual day function was a grand success and left everyone with cherished memories.
