Today, three months back crime File opened; two wanted antisocial arrested by Baidyanathpur Police team.

Berhampur,( 19/01/2026): Baidhyanathpur Police team .arrested 2 wanted antisocial headed by Mr.Subrat Kumaar Beura within 36 hours soon after joining as new Inspector-in-Charge .
Arrested accused persons:
1. Babu Gouda(35), of Dhipa Sahi (Lanjipalli) ,Berhampur,,
2. N.Prasad Patra@ Pechu(26),s/o N.Madhaba Patra 1st Lane Ram Nagar(Lanjipalli) .
According to police on 25.11.2025 at when Baidyanathpur Police team were performing evening patrolling received credible information that some antisocial armed with bombs, Khanda Kati, Bhujali at an abandon place near NH-16 and were preparing for Dacoity on NH-16.
Acting upon this information, PS staff conducted raid seeing the police at a distance the antisocial very dramatically fled from the spot.
However, Police team apprehended one of them.
During search, police found black colour bag containing handmade bomb, three number of Kati, five number of beer bottles.
On further interrogation detained Juvenile along with his associates Gopal of Ramanagar, Dipu of Gate Bazar Bila Sahi, Babu Gouda(35) , N.Prasad Patra@ Pechu(26) and K.Rabi of Dhipa Sahi planned to commit dacoity in the locality and also to commit murder of one Raju Dora of Ramakrushna Nagar.
The absconding accused were arrested today and forwarded to court.
This with reference to previous police Case no; 590 Dt 25.11.2025 U/s-310(4)/310(5) BNS r/w Sec.25 Arms Act/ Sec. 3/4 E.S Act.
