9th’evening of Mahanagar Mahotsav Celebrates Tribal Art and Livelihoods at Berhampur

Berhampur,17/01.26):Mahanagar Mahotsav,Berhampur,Odishas’a renewed cultural ,marked as giving priority- vibrant tourism, tribal art and livelihoods entire the southern part of Odisha. reinforcing its commitment to cultural preservation and community-led development.
Organised annually since 13 years the Mahotsav is a flagship cultural festival that celebrates the rich tribal heritage of the region. The event brings together over 500 artists from across the Odisha and serves as a dynamic platform to promote indigenous art, culture, and traditions.
Mahanagar Mahotsav committee a unit of Mahanagar Sanskrutika Prisad a showcase of vibrant’s stall emerged as one of the major highlights of the festival, g a vibrant blend of traditional tribal art forms.
Adding a unique dimension around 150 stalls were exhibits from Odisha’s products of other districts and cultural items performed mainly Sambalpuri,Ganjam,phulbani,Kalahandi districts the tradition l folk dance
while enabling sustainable livelihood opportunities for local artisans, self-help groups, and community stakeholders across Ganjam. Committee believes that fostering the talents of local artists not only enhances cultural vibrancy but also ensures the continuation of traditional art practices for generations to come.
Today joining as chief guest Manoj Kumar Pradhan,Chairman of Dibakar patnaik higher education research centre while Chandradwaj Sahu, senior scribe as speaker joined the function.The meeting was preside by Gopsl Patnaik.
Among others, vice president, Anil Kumar Patra,cultural event secretary sudip sahu Mihira Tripathy,, Kartik Panigrahy,famous anchor, joint secretary,Siba Pana Eminent advocate, Senior Journalist,Narayan Mahankuda ,Secretary of Committee , President Mahanagar Sanskrutika Parisad.media co-ordinator,Mrutyunjaya sahu,Sudarsan Parida ll office bearer have discharged their active participation .at last stage management executive Ms.Madhusmita rath,Gokul Tripathy all have managing the show
