STATION AREA,IN ROURKELA Sec.144 CLAMPED AS PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE

ROURKELA: Rourkela is now running safe for last few days since corona positive case is detected. Local administration is taking all precautionary measures form sanitizing roads, buildings, market place to imposing containment zone.

A sudden threat has come when the news reached that the Shramik  Special train carrying migrants from Tirubhilla, Andhra Pradesh has arrived this afternoon, ADM, Rourkela has imposed section 144 in Rourkela Railway Station area, Madhusudan Marg, New Bus Stand area and all shops will remain closed between 12 noon to 12am midnight. All total 59 migrants have boarded the train and after arrival a proper health screening was done by Doctors and medical staffs that were present in the station, hence, all precautionary measured are being taken by the local authorities. Out of these 59 migrants 13 are from Sundergarh, 44 from Deogarh and 2 from Jharsuguda. Local administration has arranged food, water, sanitizer and mask for the migrants which have been distributed them in the station itself. All of them are seen happy both for returning home after a long time as well as for the hospitality extended at the station. For migrants other than Sundergarh, Bus arrangements were made and will be sent to their respective places.  This exercise was done in presence of all top officials of Sundergarh district including District Collector, Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, DIG(Western Range), Kabita Jalan, SP, Rourkela, K Shiva Subramani, RMC, Commissioner, Dibyajyoti Parida and ADM, Rourkela, Aboli Sunil Narwane.
