Success of Burglary Case Berhampur Nimakhandi Police recovered Cash,Gold & Silver

Berhampur,(10/01.26):The Nimakhandi Police team Berhampur has successfully detected a major burglary cases and arrested three persons in this connection .
The intelligential reveal how police work practically in field, crime and the relation of criminals and applying the investigation process police withy valuable technical inputs, arrested the perpetrators . The accused fellow identified Chintu Sethy (28), of Gate Bazar, Laxmi Nagar, P.S.–Town., Deepak Ku Pattanaik @ Siba (33), of Laxmi Bihar, 1st Lane, Bada Bazar PS and Akash Kumar Behera (32), of Chandramapeta Sahi, B.N. Pur PS.
The Police have also recovered from the possession maximum of the lost items including gold and silver jewellery and cash.

On 28.12.2025 at about 07.10 PM, on the basis of a written report lodged by the complainant Rajesh Kumar Panda (33), S/o Jogendra Panda, resident of Prahallad Nagar, 2nd Lane, under Nimakhandi Police Station the above-noted case was registered and taken up for investigation.
During the investigation Scientific Team visited the spot. CCTV footage from the spot house and nearby places was verified for detection of the case. On verification of CCTV footage, it was ascertained that two persons committed the theft by breaking open the lock of the house of Simanchala Patra, and one person assisted them by leading them to the spot using a Scooty .
The subsequent course of investigation, on receipt of reliable and credible information, a raid was conducted and the accused Chintu Sethy was apprehended. On examination and interrogation, he confessed his involvement in the commission of the offence and disclosed the names of the two persons who had committed the theft in the house of Simanchala Patra at Konark Nagar, 2nd Lane, Lochapada, namely Akash Kumar Behera and Deepak Kumar Pattanaik @ Siba, stating that they had jointly committed the offence in furtherance of their common intention. Subsequently, raids were conducted and the above-named accused persons were apprehended. During sustained interrogation, the accused persons voluntarily confessed and disclosed that during the intervening night of 27/28.12.2025, they jointly committed house-breaking by breaking open the lock of the front door of the house of Simanchala Patra, situated at Konark Nagar, 2nd Lane, Lochapada, and committed theft of cash, gold ornaments, and silver ornaments. Further interrogation revealed that accused Chintu Sethy stated that he, along with his associates Deepak Kumar Pattanaik and Akash Kumar Behera, used to roam around nearby localities during late-night hours, identify locked houses, and thereafter break open the locks to commit theft of gold, silver, cash, and other valuables.
All the above noted accused persons arrested and forwarded to the Hon’ble Court today and further investigation is going on.
