NTPC Northern Regional HQ hosts Electron Quiz ,IIM Lucknow Clinches Top Honours

Lucknow,(30/11/25:NTPC Northern Region Headquarters, Lucknow, hosted the Regional Round of the NTPC Electron Quiz on November 29, 2025, drawing an impressive 120 teams from 21 leading engineering and management institutes across Uttar Pradesh.
In a high-energy contest that kept the audience engaged until the last round, IIM Lucknow secured both the first and second positions, while IIT-BHU finished strong in third place.
Results:
• First Place: Anirudh Sood & Dhruv Singh (IIM Lucknow)
• Second Place: Prasant Singh Chauhan & Nishchay Shopurkar (IIM Lucknow)
• Third Place: Tejas Singh & Suryansh Singh (IIT-BHU)
Addressing the gathering, Shri Goutam Deb, Regional Executive Director (North), applauded the exceptional participation and lauded NTPC’s continued commitment to nurturing knowledge-driven competitions for young learners. He emphasised that this year’s quiz carries special significance as it coincides with NTPC’s 51st anniversary—marking more than fifty years of powering India’s growth. Since its inception in 2004, the Electron Quiz has earned a reputation as a premier platform for student engagement.
The winners received their awards from Shri Rahul Sharma, AGM (HR), in the presence of Quiz Master Shri Gautam Bose and senior NTPC officials.
As part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations, NTPC is conducting the Electron Quiz 2025 across nine regional centres—Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ranchi, Noida, Raipur and Patna.
