LANJIGARH POLICE BUSTED BIKE LIFTER RAKET IN KALAHANDI

KALAHANDI:After four months in a special operation drive Lanjigarh Police have seized 39 bike and arrested inter state 11 bike lifter in Kalahandi distrct.
Sources says that a case was registered in Biswanathpur Police Station on 03.12.2019 vide case no. 49/2019 regarding thefting of a Hero Honda Super Splender bike of Pramod Goel from his Biswanathpur residence . Then another bike thefting case was registered vide case no.13.2020 and investigation was going on. On the direction of Kalahandi SP batula Gangadhar IPS under the supervision of Kesinga SDPO Gupteswar Bhoi a special operation team was formed leaded by Lanjigarh IIC Sadanand Patra and BiswanathPur IIC Runukumari Majhi alongwith other police officers. During investigation Police came to know that Amit Kumar (24) of Biswanathpur is involved with those thefting case and as such Police lifted Amit for investigation. During investigation police could able to know that Abinash Sahu ( 33) and lifted him who admitted the bike thefting cases and informed about his gangs. Further it was known that Abinash is belongs to Ganjam and he was a professional bike thefting in different places and atlast settled at Rupra Road under Narla PS and he was the master mind of these cases.
Police arrested Chandra Kansa Behera (27) who is a garage mechanic at Lanjigarh and was helping to make key of the bikes and Sudhir harijan (29), Mantu Harijan ( 22), Ramakanta Harijan (20), and two minor boys of Chhatrapur under lanjigarh Police limit, Thakur Sunani (34) of Bhawanipatna, Dibya Bhusan Buddhia ( 44) of kamarddha and as per the sources from the master mind Abinah Sahoo police seized 39 bikes from different places of Odisha, Andhra Pardesh and Chhattisgarh state. Still investigation is going on as told by IIC Sadanand Patra.
