MURDER DUE TO FAMILY DISPUTE IN DIGAPAHANDI

Ga,jam,Digapahandi: On 30 June 2025 early morning around 4.00 AM one K Santosh Patra @Gurkha assaulted B Tulu Patra using a thenga. B Tulu Patra was injured and due to profuse bleeding he died on the spot.

The reason for murder is family dispute.

Accused and the deceased are relatives and their houses are infront of each other. Previous day ( 29 June ) night there was a dispute between between accused and deceased regarding not inviting K Santosh Patra for a Puja in the house of B Tulu Patra.

uring the dispute accused mother sustained small injuries in her finger when it was stuck in the house grill. Seeing this K Santhosh Patra got angered. During night Tulu Patra slept in the outside verandah of his house.

Accused brought a Tenga and struck a blow on his head causing serious head injury and profuse bleeding resulting in his death.

s/o K.Narsingh Patra Bhismagiri village.

Accused K Santhosh Patra is arrested and will be forwarded to the court.
