GAS LEAKAGE AT LG POLYMERS IN VIZAG TRIGGERS PANIC (!).

VIZAG:A tragic occurrence happened yesterday morning in Visakhapatnam, the port industrial city of Andhra Pradesh when poisonous gas leaked from a factory named LG polymers affected thousands of people in the vicinity of the area. As per the shocking vdo uploaded in social networking sites, it was a tragic scene to see people including youth and children are surprisingly lying on roads and were fighting to breath.
All the victims who were struggling with this poisonous gas are now recovering and will be alright soon, said senior officials of Andhra Medical College. The minister for Industries, Goutham Reddy that the evacuation from that area has already done and the situation is now under control. National Green Tribunal (NGT) has already issued notices to LG Polymers and other Govt. bodies. The population of the city is about 50 lakhs and if anything worse happens then a large chunk people may get affected, hence, looking at this sensitiveness, the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of CM, YM Jaganmohan Reddy constituted a high power committee to see what were causes behind this accident and all details of the stock including recovery steps. Also directions are made to prepare a comprehensive road map to make Visakhapatnam completely safe and free from industrial hazards. The CM has also directed the Arogyasri Trust to cover all medical bills of the victims of this gas leak including those admitted in the hospital.
