Congress forms 25-member political affairs committee for Odisha

Bhubaneswar : The Indian National Congress has officially constituted a 25-member Political Affairs Committee (PAC) for the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC), following the approval of party president Mallikarjun Kharge.

According to an announcement by AICC General Secretary K.C. Venugopal, the newly formed committee comprises key leaders tasked with strategizing and strengthening the party’s organizational activities in the state.

Members of the OPCC Political Affairs Committee include:

Ajay Kumar Lallu (In-charge), Bhakta Charan Das (OPCC Chief), Ramchandra Kadam, Saptagiri Ulaka, Niranjan Patnaik, Jaydev Jena, Sarat Pattanayak, Prasad Hari Chandan, Srikant Jena, Nagendra Pradhan, Jagannath Patnaik, Amar Chandra Pradhan, Sushila Tiriya, P. Sethi, Ram Chandra Khuntia, Sarat Raut, Assaf Ali Khan, Tara Prasad Bahinipati, Ramesh Jena, S. Razeen Ekka, Debashish Patnaik, Santosh Singh Saluja, Md. Moquim, Biswaranjan Mohanty, and Sasmita Behera.

Ex-Officio Members:

All AICC secretaries in charge of Odisha and heads of the party’s frontal organizations will serve as ex-officio members of the committee.

The formation of this committee is seen as a move to energize the party cadre ahead of the upcoming electoral battles in Odisha.
