GUNFIGHT DURING RAID,POLICE ARREST WANTED CRIMINAL SUSANT
TALCHER (DHIRAMOHAN RAY) : Intra District criminal Susant Nayak encounterd by Talcher Police and the Special Sqad of Angul. During night petrolling and raid by Talcher Police with special squad Angul, two bikers found in the Kandhal forest area under Talcher Police limit and having seen the police force in the spot they fled away, police sqad chased them and told to surrender, In stead of surrendering to the police, Susant Nayak was shot three times, so that police were forced to fire and the bullet hit Susant in his left leg. He is now admitted in Angul District Head Quarter Hospital and his health condition is said to be stable. Police siezed two motor cycles and a gun from the spot of action.Susant has more than twenty criminal cases registered in Angul and other district police stations in the state. Among others Talcher SDPO Bharat Chandra Sahu and IIC Divbijoy Biswal were present.
