SECOND BUS CARRYING ODIA MIGRANTS FROM SURAT MET AN ACCIDENT AT KALINGA GHAT (!).

Phulbani: In another saddening incident, one more bus carrying stranded migrants from Surat to Ganjam in Odisha meets with an accident. The mishap took place in Kalinga Ghati in Kandhamal district.
As per initial reports, at least five persons sustained injuries in the accident. On being informed, G Udayagiri police reached the spot and launched the rescue operation.
J K Behera, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) G Udayagiri also informed that there were 57 passengers including 3 women in the bus. The mishap occurred as driver was not acquainted with route, Behera added.
This is the second such incident that occured at Kalinga Ghati in the last 24 hours.
