ROURKELA:Kota is now the hotspot in India for its coaching for Medical and Engineering. Students from all across the country go there for a good coaching. This time corona has made them stuck in kota due to lack of communication because of ongoing lockdown. Every state govt. is trying their best to bring back these students after getting the pressure from parents.
Similarly Odisha has shown proactive in bringing migrant laborers as well as students from other states. In the process about 115 students who have stuck in Kota is now returning home, a big relief to the family members of the students. Yesterday morning at around 10.15am all students hailed from Rourkela have boarded the busses for their respective homes from land mark city. These busses will travel through Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, and finally will enter Odisha through Sambalpur. It will take 30 hours to reach Rourkela and before starting its journey entire busses were sanitized. Parents of these children are eagerly waiting to see them. But the matter of the fact is, after reaching Rourkela they will be taken for quarantine and there they will be tested if infected by corona or not and then they will be allowed to go home and will remain in home isolation. This is a standard procedure Govt. is now adopting for every Odias who are coming from other states. Many state Govts have already taken back their students who were stuck in kota. Rajasthan Govt. deserves big thanks for taking care of these students there. Though home coming is a matter of joy but remaining in quarantine is no doubt a mental pressure for these young children. But it has to be done looking at a larger perspective, to fight corona.
