TALCHER TAHASILDAR DIGITALLY ARRESTED BY CYBER FRAUDERS !
TALCHER : (DHIRAMOHAN RAY): Cyber fraud did not spare even the Tahsildar. 90 thousand rupees have been stolen from her account by digital arrest.
Talcher Tahsildar Dr. Rosalin Behera is a victim of such fraud. After interrogating her for hours through video calls, the fraudsters looted her Bank account through a link, introducing the CBI officer. Tahsildar Dr. Behera has reported this to Talcher police station.According to the information,a phone call was received by Tehsildar Dr. Behera on the afternoon of last 24th.On the other hand, a person identified himself as an employee of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) office and said that someone else had taken a mobile number through her Aadhaar card. She has conducted illegal activities through that number. So he said that her registered mobile number will be blocked within 2 hours. Later, another fraudster made a video call to Tehsildar Dr. Behera, introducing himself as a CBI officer, He also informed the Tehsildar regarding the said SIM and said that a complaint has been filed against her and asked her to pay some fine along with online interrogation for a long time in this regard. For this the scammer sent 2 links,Believing them, Tehsildar Dr. Behera opened the said link and Rs. 89.thousand 5.hundred were looted.The police have registered a case and conducted an investigation
