NML felicitated Safai Mitras and Associate Members on Swachh Bharat Diwas
Ranchi : Gandhi Jayanti and the 10th anniversary of Swachh Bharat Diwas was celebrated at NTPC Coal Mining/NTPC Mining Limited HQ in Ranchi.
On this special occasion, Shri Animesh Jain, Chief Executive Officer of NTPC Mining Limited and Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining), in the august presence of Shri Rajnish Rastogi, CGM (HR) & other senior officials , administered the Swachhta Pledge to our dedicated contractual workers, including housekeeping staff, chauffeurs, Indian Coffee House employees, security personnel, and office assistants etc. He said Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a transformative initiative aimed at fostering a cleaner nation, which is a crucial step towards a developed Bharat.
Following this, Shri Jain felicitated Safai Mitras (Housekeeping Staff) and associate members, recognizing their exemplary efforts in maintaining cleanliness.In his address, Shri Jain emphasized the vital role of housekeeping staff, whose contributions often go unnoticed. He remarked, “Today, we gather to celebrate and acknowledge the invaluable work of those who tirelessly keep our communities clean and healthy. It is essential that we honor them.”
The day, October 2 coincides with the launch of Special Campaign 4.0, which aimed at intensifying the efforts of the Swachh Bharat Mission by focusing on cleanliness and sanitation in various public spaces. In this context, various activities on cleanliness are planned for implementation during Special Campaign 4.0 to promote cleanliness and hygiene.
