Odisha CM Majhi announces Rs 200 crore for facelift of Ghatagaon Maa Tarini Temple

Bhubaneswar : The Maa Tarini Temple at Ghatagaon in the Keonjhar district will get a state-of-the-art makeover soon as the state government announced an additional Rs 200 crore for the project on Sunday.

The presiding deity Maa Tarini will be worshipped in a more attractive temple whereas its entire vicinity will be completely transformed with elaborate arrangement of basic amenities for the visitors and devotees.

The development came up during Odisha CM Mohan Majhi’s 3-day Keonjhar visit wherin he announced Rs 200 Crore for the Maa Tarini shrine for its facelift.

Amid laying foundation stones of a plythora of development projects for the district, Majhi announced that “The government had earlier granted Rs 50 crore for beautification of Maa Tarini temple and would sanction Rs 200 crore more in coming days for the transformation of the shrine.

The recent announcement of the CM has spread happiness among devotees, to see the Maa Tarini shrine’s facelift.

Apart from it, CM Majhi on Sunday inaugurated and laid foundation stone for several projects worth more than Rs 900 crore in Keonjhar during his visit to home district.
