NARENDRA MODI INTERACTED WITH SARPANCH, THE MANTRA IS KEEP ‘DO GAJ DOORI’

ROURKELA:This morning, Narendra Modi in a video conferencing had talked to sarpanchs across the country on Panchyati Raj Day. He was seen very calm and compose while interacting with the guests on board. He said, COVID-19 has taught us how to be self reliant and keep our self prepared for any such emergencies our country if it faced in future. During this programme he had also launched two programmes, e-Gram Swaraj to monitor rural infrastructure works and its governance and Swamitva programme which will look after mapping of rural housing and land holding through technology including drone service. These programmes will certainly help the people at village level up to a great extent. He thanked everyone, especially the panchayatiraj institution in making lockdown successful till now and their support in keeping corona away from our life. He also confessed that COVID-19 does not have a clear cure but the simple mantra to fight is to keep ‘DO GAJ DOORI’, it really helps. He also pronounced some Sanskrit words to say that unity and organized effort is the key to fight this pandemic and truly it is the need of the hour. He also interacted with some sarpanchs and heard their views and suggested what is to be done. He also emphasized that corona cannot attack unless we make it possible to reach, hence, lockdown is the best way and social distancing can do miracle.
