Basic Life Support Ambulance to Kaniha Community Health Centre for Enhanced Healthcare Access By NTPC Talcher Kaniha

New Delhi,(Odishabarta): On ,30th March ,NTPC Kaniha’s CSR initiative has made a significant impact on healthcare accessibility in the region by providing a Basic Life Support (BLS) Ambulance to the Kaniha Community Health Centre. This ambulance, earmarked for Kaniha Block and the referral hospital in the district, serves as a crucial link in delivering quality healthcare services to remote areas.

Shri Ashok Kumar Sehgal, Head of Project of NTPC Talcher Kaniha, inaugurated the BLS Ambulance and handed it over to the Community Health Centre’s BPHO, Shri Sumanta Kumar Patel, in the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Shri B K Pandey (HoHR, NTPC Kaniha), Shri Debdutt Pradhan (Block Development Officer, Kaniha), Shri Chinmay Das (Tahasildar, Kaniha), Shri P K Singh (DGM HR, NTPC), officials from NTPC and CHC Kaniha, along with distinguished guests.

Given Kaniha’s proximity to mining areas and remote locations, the BLS Ambulance will play a vital role in providing critical care and support during medical emergencies. Moreover, its capability to safely transport patients to Talcher and Angul for advanced medical treatment further enhances its value.
