Deer Meat Seized:3 Arrested
Paralakhemundi, (Odishbarta) At Gajapati district by the instruction of SP Swathy S. Kumar by Naka point & Forest department patrolling staff separately strangulated. Around at midnight 1 O’clock at Labanyagada of Gosani block of Naka point led by IIC Garabandha Rinarani Sahu with SI Narayan Das & staff cordoned 2 bikes coming from Andhrapradesh. While checking they found meat of deer & live kid deer. They informed to Mahendra Forest Range Officer Amit Subhrajit who was patrolling at Rompa panchayar.Later Forester of Narayanpur MKameshu reached at spot. They seized the meat & kid deer along with arrested 3 persons. Those arrested are Artana village of Gaiba panchayat of Gumma block Tishana Bhuyan (49),Meshiyo Bhuyan(32) & Abiyo Bhuyan(44). Seized deer kid’s health checked at Gurandi Veterinary health centre. After fitness certificate given that will be left at forest. Seized meat will be grounded as Forest Wil Animal Act. All 3 accused forwarded to Court, said Range Officer.
