INVEST RS 9 LAKHS TO GET BACK 10 LAKHS  (!).

GENERAL PUBLIC ARE REQUESTED NOT TO BELIEVE FALSE PROMISES OF HIGH RETURNS OR FAKE PROMISE OF UNSECURED LOANS.

Berhampur,14/1123:Baidyanathpur Police on tuesday arrested five persons for allegedly cheating in the name of “unsecured loan” by TPF (Trade Profit Fund) U-Turn, and arrested five persons. Police said. In receipt of the written report from the Surjya Narayan Patra  at Baidyanathpur PS, Police registered a case on Tuesday U/s. 120-B /420/406/34 IPC.

Soon a team  lead by Inspector in Charge BabaSankar Saraf ,Bibhuti Sethy,Ms.Anjali Behera and Dushmant Kumar Pradhan rush to  ground zero detection and successfully able to arrest all accused involved in the case.

The accused persons identified as;Badrinath Panda (29), S/o-Damodar Panda of Ganesh Nagar 4th Line, PS- Bada Bazar,Akshya Kumar Nayak (29), S/O- Dasarathi Nayak of Baliasara, PS-K. S Nagar,Bhabani Sankar Pattanaik (29), S/o- Chitaranjan Pattanaik of Routapeta street, PS- B.Bazar,Berhampur,Ramachandra Panda @ Tulu (45), S/o- Lt. Abhimanyu Panda of Ranjhali, PS- Purusottampur, Dist- Ganjam and Nibash Nahak (44), S/o-Lt.Dhoba Nahak of Angu, PS- Purusottampur, Dist- Ganjam.

On Tuesday in a press meet Dr.Sarvana Vivek,M,while briefing said, that,on 14.11.23 at 8.15 AM, complainant Surjya Narayan Patra reported in writing at Baidyanathpur Police that few days ago when he along with his friend Sachin Mahapatra went to the hardware shop of his friend Badrinath Panda located at Andhapasara Road,Berhampur,his friend Badrinath Panda allured them to invest Rs 9 lakhs to get back 10 lakhs within one day. Believing him he and his friend Sachin Mahapatra arranged 9 lakhs each by withdrawing money from their bank accounts and informed their friend Badrinath Panda.

Badrinath Panda who was in connivance with one Anwar, one Mahesh Verma and one KP all three from outside Odisha and also in connivance with Akshaya Nayak, Tulu @ Rama Chandra Panda, Nibas Nahak and Bhabani Sankar Pattanaik, all from Berhampur & Ganjam.

All these persons were looking for gullible business persons who are willing to give huge cash to get “unsecured loan” facility through TPF (Trade Profit Fund) U-Turn. They promised that if anyone gives cash, they were assured of double the money invested within a short span.

 On 10.11.23 at about 12 noon Badrinath Panda asked the complainant and his friend Sachin Mahapatra to arrive near Kamapalli overbridge with cash. All of them proceeded to the road front of DPS School near Lanjipalli in the car of Badrinath Panda. At that spot they found Akshya Kumar Nayak and one Mahesh Verma who after seeing them, got into the car and started talking about the transaction. At that time one person arrived there by holding a bag who was identified by Mahesh Verma as their boss KP. Thereafter both Akshya Kumar Nayak and Mahesh Verma got down from the car and KP went inside the car with the bag. After some time again Akshya Kumar Nayak got into the car. Both KP and Akshya Kumar Nayak took the cash from the complainant and the person KP tactfully took the cash bag containing around 28 lacs and exchanged it with an exactly similar looking bag.

After sometime the accused persons identified as KP & Mahesh Verma escaped with the bag containing real cash, leaving the bag with the kids cash note.

 Five accused persons are arrested and further investigation going on to verify the involvement and arrest of other accused persons with this link.
