Youth tortured & attacked by a group in Berhampur

Berhampur:On last Sunday at 7.30 P.M one Baliya Choudhry (24) S/o Subudhi Choudhry of vill. Gurunthi,under -Nimakhandi, Police station,Berhampur presented a written report alleging that, on 28.10.23 at about 12.10 a.m. midnight he had been to Kelasahi at that time due to previous grudge one Manoj Sethy and four to five of his associates abused him in filthy language. Manoj Sethy attacked him using Sword over his head and his associates assaulted by means of Iron rod over his leg, then he fell on the ground becoming unconscious.
Thereafter his family members reached the spot and shifted him MKCG, Berhampur. After treatment he appeared to Police station. and reported . On receipt of the report the a case has been registered U/S 341/294/323/324/307/506/34 IPC.
Police arrested all four accused persons.They have been identified as; Madhaba Naik(20) Sankar Naik of Dhobasahi Chowk, Gurunthi PS Nimakhandi, Manoj Sehti (32) of village Dhoba Sahi, Gurunthi PS Nimakhandi ,Suman Patra (27) S/o Danda Patra, Dandapatana, Nadisahi, Gurunthi PS Nimakhandi and Shankar Sahu (23) of village Teli Sahi, Gurunthi, Nimakhandi PS.
