Ongoing Cyber Safety Campaign Awareness on Chalk Piece in Berhampur

Berhampur:Berhampur chalk artist Bijay Kumar Reddy created statues by Chalk piece and presented it to Dr.Sarvana Vivek,M,SP Berhampur highlighting the Cybersafety awareness program of Berhamapur Police.
The statues include;
1. 1930-Cybercrime Helpline number,
2. A mobile in hand
3. Cybersafe shiled
4. Cybercriminal and
5. Cyraa – Mascot of Cybersafety.
As a part of ongoing Cyber safety Campaign , A Mini Marathon is being organised on last Sunday morning. It starts from Berhampur MKCG ground and end at Government ITI.
On the auspicious day Mr.Satyabrata Bhoi,IG , Southern Range, SP Berhampur and Ravi Kumar Arjuna Awardee weight lifter flag off the event from MKCG ground.
IGP,Bhoi,has advised the citizens to stay alert and safe.
It needed to mention here in the last few years, the rate of cybercrime has increased alarmingly across the state and awareness and caution are key measures to prevent this.
Therefore, this campaign has been started to create awareness of Cyber Safety at all levels across Police district.
In this campaign, the Police district administrations launched the Cyber Safety Awareness Raths and various awareness programmes being conducted in at least two educational institutions every day.
Apart from this, awareness programmes also being organised at various public places in the City and other Police stations area under the district. Also, conducted quiz competitions conducted among students in schools and colleges.
Notably,the concluding ceremony will be held on the 15th of October in the presence of Padma awardees and freedom fighters along with district administration officials .
