Rayagada, September 29: Entrepreneurship Week was celebrated in the premises of Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir in Rayagada Town, Gayatri Nagar in accordance with Swabalambi Bharat Abhiyan. A workshop was held on the subject of Self Reliance-Swabalamban amongst the students of the eighth, ninth and tenth classes of the school.

According to the speakers, more than 90 lakh students are graduating every year in our country. On the other hand Government jobs are 2 percent and private jobs are 7 percent; so the remaining 91 percent students are facing unemployment problem. It is not possible for any government or any industry to provide job to all. There is only one solution to this problem and that is self-reliance. So, with this goal in mind, the Swabalambi Bharat Abhiyan Yojana has started a week long celebration across India to create guidance and explode myths of govt jobs.

Through this campaign, students will be guided on self reliant initiatives in various schools, colleges and technical institutions. Sri. Deepak Kumar Raut, Odisha Paschim Palak of Swabalambi Bharat Abhiyan explained regarding various facets of self reliance and employment.  In today’s interactive workshop, 250 students attended and tried to learn about Swabalamban by seeking several clarifications. Swabalambi Bharat Abhiyan District co-coordinator Sri Shyam Kumar Das, Sri. M. Vidya Sagar and all the Gurujis & Gurumas of the school were present in this program.
