Berhampur Police Crackdown holding of illegal Fire Crackers kept in a rented house

Berhampur:Today based on reliable information B.N Pur Police team headed by OIC Lanjipalli conducted raid in a house situated at Shivashakti Nagar, Lanjipalli near to Urban Dhaba and detected a huge quantity of illegal stock of Fire Crackers kept inside a rented house.
The police team apprehended two persons namely
1. Sachin Panigrahy S/O: Sanjay Kumar Panigrahy of Lanjipalli,
2. Asik Kumar Behera S/O Sukanta Kumar Behera of Umanagar 3rd lane Lanjipalli for illegally keeping the Fire Crackers in an unsafe manner.
The police have seized 54 big carton box containing fire crack. of different brands. The approximate value of seized firecrackers is approximately Rs.3.5 lacks.Police estimated.
In connection Berhampur Baidyanathpur police registered a under section 286 IPC / Sec 9(B)(1)(b) of Explosives Act/ Sec 5 of Odisha Fireworks and loud speaker Act Regulation Act 1958.
