WOMAN RESCUED BY FIRE OFFICER IN BERHAMPUR CITY

BERHAMPUR: In order to maintain better sanitation and hygiene conditions the Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) has stepped up several measures across the city.The civic body started spraying disinfectants at various establishments and public places.Fire Services personnel, BeMC is spraying Sodium Hypochlorite at public places along the roads to ensure better hygienic conditions across the city.
On Friday while the Fire service personnel discharging their tuff responsibity at about 6.30 AM they found a woman named Sita Das age about 75 years of Prem Nagar 7th lane Berhampur was fell down in a very narrow 35 Feet dry well which is situated in her house.
The fire service staff reached the spot in time about Mr Gulu Patra astaff member entered into the well and rescued her in injured condition.All other staffs are assisted to him.
After successful rescue the fire staff shifted her to MKCG Hospital in serious condition for treatment. All the rescue work performed under the direct supervision of Mr Mohapatra, AFO,Berhampur.
