Swami Anand Arun Continues the Legacy of Osho through Ashes Preservation in Nepal

New Delhi, 22nd Aug 2023 – It has emerged that in a passionate effort to safeguard the legacy of the revered master Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh aka Osho, Swami Anand Arun, brought a portion of Osho’s ashes with him to Nepal in 1990 at the time of his controversial master’s death. These holy remains are currently housed at two ‘Samadhis’ at his ashram Osho Tapoban in Nepal since then. It is claimed that the original samadhi was established at Osho Ashram in Pune according to the wishes of Osho himself, the presence of which is controversially refuted by the management of Pune ashram.
Swami Arun, 80, is one of the first disciples of Osho and the visionary behind 100+ Osho communes and centers worldwide. Osho Tapoban, a spiritual oasis in Nepal, is the culmination of his dedicated efforts along with a group of dedicated Osho sannyasins. The seeds of this sanctuary were sown during Osho’s visit to Nepal in 1986, and it has since blossomed into a place of spiritual growth for seekers worldwide. By bringing a portion of Osho’s ashes to Nepal, Swami Anand Arun ensures that this sacred space continues to thrive as a beacon of Osho’s futuristic teachings that are becoming more widely understood and relevant today.
