Yogi Adityanath like action necessary for lock-down violation with political responsibility fixed for (a) migration from Delhi (b) religious gathering in Nizamuddin (Delhi)
DELHI: It refers to open violation of lock-down due to huge religious gathering with many foreign participants held in Nizamuddin area of Delhi. This gathering could be a cause of possible third phase of community-spread of corona for which central government is trying its level best to prevent. Such situations occur mainly due to religious fundamentalism directly or indirectly patronized by pseudo-secular politicians for cheap political gains. Massive mandate will be supporting Central government if it takes stringent-most steps against the culprits managing the religious gathering by their immediate arrest under severe-most criminal charges. Responsibility should be fixed on area MLA who failed to note such anti-public activity of lock-down violation at a time when orders were issued as early as on 13.03.2020 prohibiting gatherings exceeding 50 persons. Complete property and assets including bank-accounts of the religious institution and its office-bearers organizing the religious gathering in Nizamuddin (Delhi) should be confiscated to recover at least a part of spending made on medical check-up and treatments.
Political responsibility should also be fixed on large-scale migration from Delhi during lock-down period. Central government should grill bureaucrats in Delhi government against whom action is taken, for revealing names of political persons who were encouraging such migration. Political representatives must not be given power to distribute relief-money as announced by Delhi government to construction-workers in an unorganized sector to prevent corruption. Since TV news-channels are themselves educating people to fight against corona, funds should not be spent on TV advertisements by any state-government including of Delhi for the purpose.
Perhaps such massive violation of lock-down would have been avoided if political responsibility would have been fixed on area MLAs during riots in North-East Delhi and 100-day long stay at Shaheen Bagh (Delhi) against Citizenship Amendment Act.
