CHC Run without Physicians (?).

Paralakhemundi-At Kashinagar CHC of Gajapati district there are 11 posts of doctors available. But there 7 doctors posted. Among them 4 on contractual & other 3 are regular doctors.

Not a single specialist nor a woman doctor posted. Earlier an MBBS lady doctor posted rather she transferred. Even after transfer of dental surgeon that pot still lying vacant..

After demand by Kashinagar people one Gyenic specialist was coming weekly twice.

 But now not coming. That tarnished treatment for maternity care women. During specialist doctor time daily 200 patients were coming but now hardly 80 to 100 patients are coming. Incharge medical officer Durga Prasad Panda said with available resources we do something. Moreso new building is under construction that may be completed on next month & to be handed over,he added.

There are 4 quarters which only 2 better to reside rest defuncted. So mostly doctors staying at rented house.

So public demand fulfil of all seats with regular specialists to be posted. Further services to be maintained they demanded.
