Berhampur-Two Days Training among & RTO Officials on Investigation of Motor Accident Cases, (iRAD).

Berhampur: A two days’ training programme on investigation of motor accident cases, iRAD (Integrated Road Accident Database) and e-DAR (e-Detailed Accident Report) was conducted for the police and RTO officials at the conference hall of IG of Police, Southern Range Berhampur.
As many 35 officers from Ganjam Police district and Berhampur Police district attended the training.
IGP,(Southern Range), Satyabrata Bhoi IPS informed how increasing accidents can be brought down by proper investigation and analysis of all accident data.
SP Berhampur, Dr. Saravana Vivek M IPS directed all officers to make use of the training and take best efforts during investigation of accident cases and collection of accident related data. RTO Mr. Manas Swain welcomed all the police officers and officials of RTO office for the training.
NIC coordinator Guru Prasad trained the officers in the collection of accident data in iRAD application specially designed for collection and analysis of accident data.
Mr.Ravi Shankar who is a expert on crash analysis trained the officers on Investigation of accident spot , accident vehicles and CCTV analysis.
It’s a two day training program , officers of Ganjam and Berhampur police district were trained today.
The second day training Programme is schedule for the Officers from Ganapati, Kandhamal & Boudh police district will be held on tomorrow.
