Celebration of 4th National Electrical Safety Week at IMFA Therubali

Rayagada, July 6: IMFA Therubali celebrated 4th National Electrical Safety Week. During the weeklong celebrations, electrical safety banners were displayed in prominent places inside the factory premises and in the public places also to create awareness among the employees and public regarding electrical safety.
In the inaugural session employees & executives from various departments assembled and took safety oath. Mr Asish Kumar Roy, VP (Mfg) & EIC addressed the gathering on this year’s theme “Don’t Compromise, Be Wise” and said “Electricity can turn you off”.
Mr.K.C.Dash, Electrical l/c announced the week long programme schedule. Various awareness trainings and display of audio visuals on electrical safety were conducted for the employees in their work places on different areas such as Electrical Safety theme of the year – Don’t Compromise, Be Wise, Safety during lightning, Earthing, Illumination, use of Personal Protective Equipments, Electrical hazards and Protective measures, Electrical Shock Treatment, Electrical fire due to short Circuit, etc.
Electrical Department hosted the week long programme and encouraged the employees following best safety practices. Prizes were distributed to winners of safety quiz and other competitions.
