KALAHANDI LOCK DOWN GOING ON, BOARDER SEALED, ACTION ON VIOLATION, BLOCK CHAIRMAN ARRESTED, GROSSERRY RATE INCREASING IN RURAL AREAS
Kalahandi is under lockdown.The District Administration trying to aware the people. Police also in action and looking in to the matter seriously and taking action on violation.
Only essential commodity shop, medical store, Vegetable shop are allowed to be opened with a safety measure to the customers. In each and every shop there are demarkations for the customers in view of safety measure.Violation of the luck down and social distancing is viewed seriously.
According to the report, Kalahandi police registered 37 cases for violating the Covid-19 regulations,34 vehicles seized and 55 persons are arrested.More serious steps will be impose against the violation of the guideline from tomorrow ,says Kalahandi SP Batula Gangadhar to the media.
A case is also registered in Koksara PS vide no.65/2020 u/s 269,270,271,188 IPC & prevention of Covid-19 Act against Balaram Pujhari, the Chairman of Dharamgarh Block while organizing a social gathering for Newly “GRUHA PRABESH” in his native village Behera under Koksara Police limit and forwarded to court. Kalahandi SP convey his thanks to people of Kalahandi to cooperate the luck down and also congratulate the police personnel’s for their untiring work out on roads for perfect enforcements of lock down.
The boarder at Sandhikulihari under Dharamgarh Police limit towards Chhatisgarh as well all road from other districts are sealed and none is allowed to enter inside the district without any specific reason.
District Administration is taking special measures to aware the people of rural area through the Gram Panchayats and providing funds to develop isolation centers at the GP level. Many people of almost each villages had been at out side state for their daily wages as migrant laborers and many of then have come back and some are still at their work place and unable to come back. In Kalahandi 4363 migrant laborers returned back to 940 villages and out of them 3916 have scanned by the administration. There is an example that In Jaipatna Block a group of migrant laborers are staying out side village in a tent. People at the hill top like in Dunda village under Junagarh Block has taken safety measure by the special effort of the Dundelmal Sarapanch Dr. Tribhubana Panda and his staff. District Administration has taken step to set 18905 beds in 310 isolation centers at different GP level.
In rural area the police personnel trying to take care off the safety measure in this regards by regular patrolling. In many cases the essential commodities like potato, onion, sugar becoming scarcity due to non supply by the wholesaler. In many places it is reported that the potato, onion, sugar are became its cost as 90/- , 85/- and 120/- rupees respectively. If this situation will be going on the rate may be increased and the intellectuals demand that the administration should look after it.
While the state government supplying the social security pension at door step and cooked food to the children by their respective Anganwadi workers. The health workers and other authority and sweepers, the working journalists should be taken care of who are working in the field.
