DISABLED STUDENT FELICITATED BY ANGUL Collector

Talcher:Pramila Munda, a disabled student of Ghantapada Nodal High School under Talcher Sub Division has passed this year’s 10th class final  examination of with a total of 346 out of 600 marks in third Division of with her infinite courage, hard work and efforts. The D. M. and Collector of Angul Dist. Sidharth Shankar Swain has felicitated this disabled girl student with bukay and Utariya for her achievement. Pramila, she is the daughter of Gurubari and Niranjan, who lives in Munda Basti was studying in sixth standard and her right leg was amputated in a train accident while crossing the railway line under Dera Over Bridge after school vacation. After the accident she was treated at Cuttack S. C. B. Medical College on behalf of the Angul District Administration. On the instructions of Collector,  Angul, her artificial leg has been successfully implanted by the department of social welfare. Pramila’s parents have blessed that all these works were possible due to the efforts of social worker Khirod Chandra Sahu.
