3 Critically Injured In Group Clash in Berhampur City

Berhampur: Three people were critically injured in a group clash in Odisha’s Berhampur city on Wednesday at 10 PM in Hillpatna area under Gosaninuagaon police limit.
According to sources, Wednesday around 10 PM some miscreants came with full preparation with Sharpen sword, Lathi targeting a Travel agency owner Kumuda Ranjan Bramha,Manager cum Driver,Harihara Panigrahi and Sudarsan Das.
Locals says, around 8/10 persons came with all arrangement and blindly attacked with the help of swords and lathi to Kumuda Ranjan Bramha,Owner of Sampark Travel Agency,3rd lane Hillpatna,Driver,Harihara Panigrahi and Sudarsan Das.In critical situation all have shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospita,Berhampur.Their condition was stated to be critical (?).
The intellectuals speculating that such unwanted situation at late evening in city may be the reason of old enmity between the two groups of people of the area or may be some business disputes was the reason for the group clash.
However, soon it noticed to Police higher authority on his direction being informed, police station staff reached the spot and brought the situation under control and arrested the master mind Muktesh Sahu, S/O.Manoj Sahu of Bada Christian Street.
Rest run away accused persons not yet arrested till the report was filed but the investigation was in progress.
Many concealed information waited after proper interrogation from the accuse and victims, a Senior Police Officer said.
