5T Secretary,VK Pandian Visited Gajapati

Paralakhemundi- 5T Secretary VKPandiyan visited Gajapati district. On his 2 days program he visited Mohana, RUdayagiri,Gumma & Gosani blocks.He monitored various development works of the district.Second Biju Highway from Brahmapur to Malkangiri will be covered with 4-lane,where work to be completed within 3 years.Where 2 tunnnels will be excavated & distance will be reduced. Cheligada project will be started soon where 5760 hectors & 500 hectors of Ganjam & Gajapati districts will be irrigated. Brahmapur town will get regular drinking water supply. At Sialilati, Kanakata & Dekili of Gajapati district,3 Hydro-electric Projects will be installed with power supply will be started,where 36 MWs electricity will be produced. On 15 displaced villages by Cheligada project, where those villagers will be rehabilitated in 7 & 3 colonies.
He visited under construction of new busstand at Gumma & impressed on its progress.He shared with Mission Shakti members at Gumma block also visited 5T school,where he interacted with teachers & students.For new Town Hall one & half crores will be sanctioned & immediately to be completed,he instructed the officials.For Sanskruti Bhawan 5 crores will be sanctioned.For renovation of Ramsagar & Krushnasagar irrigation projects 10 crores & 15 crores respectively will be sanctioned & within 15 days works will be started.This will benefit 2000 hectors for irrigation. Paralakhemundi byepass road will be completed soon.Media representatives given a memorandum to increase health insurance amount from two lakhs to ten lakhs where dependents of media families can be benefitted. Citizens & students of SKCG Autonomous College given memorandum to fulfil long demand of University status of second oldest college. Collector Gajapati Lingraj Panda & officials had hard efforts to make successful of 5T Secretary’s visit.
