They are in their cultivable land all the seasons to use it.That building utmost recognition as farmers & labourers too. Instead of using umbrella they use very often wherever they go. This indeed a tradition for those grassroots class. Various designs marked even tourists too love to buy with much interest. Though raw materials gradually reduced still plank to see such rare use. They use a belt made by string to cover tightly in their necks. Advanced technology still not composed to compete at rural base. Nice handicraft having various sizes & designs for children & adults to wear freely. On market price that depends on quality with maximum ₹50 indeed less than umbrella price. One S. Sundar Rao a farmer of Poduni village at the outskirts of district headquarter Paralakhemundi said he still loves to wear to protect from heatwave & heavy rain. Mixed with bamboo sticks those traditional bamboo processed workers get though now a days not affordable income still feeling to keep their tradition to bind such items & others.
