Huge Amount of Wood Seized

Paralakhemundi:By the instruction of DFO Gajapati S.Anand Kumar,led by Devagiri Forest Ranger N.D.Sharma raided near Binodini Science College of Padmapur of Gumma block at an open ground seized wood pieces of more than one lakh cost. These items secretly about to transport to Andhrapradesh.As per prior information the team raided but no persons behind such scam identified.Among those pieces 55 sal(teak) & 10 numbers of piasal (kui)found.On raid, among those forest staff PVenkatravana,Dibakar Lenka,Sibaram Sabat & Priyadarshini Swain were present. Investigation is going on said Ranger.
