As per the report from TV and other news agencies, the dreaded gangster brothers Atique and Ashraf were shot dead yesterday night while going for routine medical checkup in Prayagraj by three unidentified assailants who came in disguise of Journalists.

As per the news sources, while media people had gathered the duos after getting off from police van for bites to media, suddenly one assailants approached from left of Atique and on point blank fired at his head and other assailants joined him in firing where more than 30 rounds of bullets been fired at them while they were under police protection. Tension in UP has mounted and State Govt. has already declared section 144 in all districts of UP and high alert was kicked off after the intervention of CM, Yogi Adityanath.

A high level of enquiry, three members Judicial Inquiry commission has been ordered immediately after the incidence. Yogi had also called the high level meeting where strict instruction been given to the top police officials to maintain law and order situations in UP and to bring his knowledge all important information relating law and order situation from time to time.

As everybody knows, Atique the biggest mafia of UP and former MLA and MP electd from different political parties was ruling entire UP where as more than 100 cases are on his head while his brother was having more than 50 cases against him.  Recently Atique was brought for the second time to UP from Gujarat to attend investigation and was under tight security. While he was travelling, he confessed that his mafia empire is over under yogi and was upset about his life and his family members.

One day before his killing UP Police had killed his son Asad in an encounter in UP. Now it is a talking point across the country that the Great don had his fortune the way he destroyed others. But the fact of the matter is security of UP police is now in question and this is what opposition parties in the country have found a point to malign the reputation of UP governance model ahead of General election in 2024.
