11th Foundation Day of Odisha Durneeti Sangharsa Manch was celebrated

Sunabeda: 27/02/23: The 11th Foundation Day of Odisha Durneeti Sangharsa Manch was celebrated on 25th Feb. at Red Cross Bhavan of Bhubaneswar. The program was presided over by State President of the Manch, Uma Charan Mishra. Attending as the Chief Gouest, Editor of the Odia daily ‘ The Sambad and MLA Soumya Ranjan Patnaik said that ‘now corruption has engulfed the entire system. From bottom to the top, the roots of corruption are spreading everywhere. To destroy it completely, we need to bring institutional reforms and every individual should be self-aware about it. Former Finance Minister Panchanan Kanungo graced the occasion as Guest of honour and said that ‘Corruption has become inextricably linked with people’s lifestyles. To eradicate this social evil we have to fight from the platform of the Manch and raise our voices against corruption at the personal level also. In the second session of the ceremony Advocate Prahlad Singh , Ashutosh Mishra , Sudhir Mohanty participated prominently in the seminar on “Common Law What Everyone Should Know”. In the third session of the function, the general body meeting of the forum and the program of various branches were discussed. Shaik Ibrahim, president of Koraput district branch of Odisha Durneeti Sangharsh Manch, informed about the unfair practices of Andhra Pradesh businessmen in taking over tribal lands in Koraput district. He also drew the attention of the state leaders regarding the enormous delay and mismanagement in giving land pattas to the people pushed in GKP cases in Jeypore and Bhanjanagar town. General Secretary of Koraput Branch Sushant Kumar Biswal and Advisor Baikunth Nath Sahu also participated in the said program.
