The cash was recovered from his possession and seized.

Soon after interception, during search of his rented residential house located near Mangala Mandir, Rayagada about 1km away from the place of interception, still more cash of  Rs. 6,30,000/- was recovered. With this the total cash seizure was Rs 11,34,560/-

His rented residential house located near Mangala Mandir, Rayagada, residence of his wife working in AIIMS as a nurse & staying at Patrapada Kishor Vihar, Lane-2, PS-Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar and parental house located at- Mantriguda, PS/Dist-Nabarangpur  are being simultaneously searched.

“As per information from reliable source, Kishor was collecting cash from local farmers through manipulative tactics. Though all the transaction, as per rule, need to be done in digital mode and the monetary beneficial payments to farmers are to be done in Direct Benefit Transfer(DBT) method, collecting such huge cash from farmers is certainly a sheer administrative abuse. It seems, either the monitoring mechanism is weak or the higher authorities responsible for monitoring are hand in gloves with Kishor. This is adding salt to the injury to the farmers, who are already in debt and market trap. It needs a blatant stop”, said Sri Bijaya Mishra, a farmer entrepreneur of the district residing at Munisingi village.

As per the available report, Kishor has been arrested and forwarded to SP Vigilance at Jeypore, Koraput for further action.
