STF with Dhenkanal Police detected illegal business of Fake Indian Currency Notes

Bhubaneswar:On the basis of reliable information, STF with the help of Dhenkanal District Police detected a case of illegal business of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) on 16.12.2022 evening by the side of village Rathapada under Dhenkanal Sadar Police Station Dist. Dhenkanal, as a result of which one accused person namely Tushar Kumar Biswal, 31 years S/o. Purusottam Biswal of village Kacherisahi PS/Dist. Deogarh was apprehended.
During search, Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) of Rs.1,90,600/- (One Lakh Ninety thousand Six hundred only), One M/C and other incriminating articles were recovered and seized from his possession. A case has been registered at Dhenkanal Sadar Police Station for necessary legal action. This refers to Dhenkanal Sadar Police Station Case No. 658 dated 17.12.2022 U/S. 489-A/489-B/489-C/489-D/120(B) IPC. Investigation is on.
