STAKEHOLDER FRIENDSHIP CRICKET TORNAMENT ORGANISED BY UTKAL ALUMINA

Bhubaneswar/Tikiri: In their constant endeavor to have a productive collaboration with the stakeholder a one day friendship cricket tournament was successfully organized by Utkal Alumina International limited, a subsidiary of Hindalco Industries limited of Aditya Birla Group at itsOshapada Township Cricket ground on 12th Nov 2022.
A total of six teams comprises of Collector elevenRayagada, SP elevenRayagada, CRPF eleven Rayagada, District Administration Kalahandieleven, Vizaq Railway Division eleven and Utkal Alumina eleven have participated in the tournament.
District Administration Kalahandi won the Champions trophy in the decisive game against Collector Eleven Rayagada by scoring 45 runs in the last over. Collector Eleven Rayagada finished as the game’s runner-up. One knockout over was played after a tie between two fantastic teams, which increased the excitement of the game..
Mr. Shrinivas M from Collector elevenRayagada was declared as Man of the series by scoring 63 runs and taking 4 wickets while Mr. Jajha Bag won the title of best bowler by taking 7 wickets. Mr. Rashmi Kant Parida of collectorateeleven Rayagada won the title of best fielder.

Sri Ramesh Padhi, District Sports Officer Kalahandi and Sri Shaikh Alinur, District Sports Officer Rayagada were among the other dignitaries present on the occasion.
Smt. Swadha Dev Singh, the IAS Collector, and DM Rayagada praised Utkal Alumina for taking the effort to deepen stakeholder relationships through this friendly competition. She also praised the Utkal crew for brilliantly organizing the game.
In his host address, Mr. MazharBeig, Unit Head and President Utkal Alumina extended his gratitude to the district administrations of Rayagada and Kalahandi, CRPF and Railway for their active participation in the cricket tournaments and expressed his acknowledgements to all the players who have demonstrated their sportsman spirit in the stakeholders’ tournaments.
