Odisha CM Inaugurates Brundabati Nivas For Habisiyalis In Puri

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday inaugurated the ‘Brundabati Nivas’ in Puri for the Habisiyalis observing the Kartika Brata.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister welcomed all the Habisiyalis and announced to give a shawl each to the mothers.

Expressing hope that the mothers will observe Kartika Brata with peace and joy, the Chief Minister wished the blessings of Lord Jagannath for them and their families and the entire people of Odisha.

On this occasion, Minister of School and Mass Education Samir Ranjan Dash, Minister of Sports and Youth Services Tusharkanti Behera and Minister of Odia Language, Literature and Culture Ashwini Patra and MP Pinaki Mishra gave their speeches and said that the Chief Minister has always worked for the welfare of the people of Odisha.

Today, knowing the hearts of mothers, he inaugurated the ‘Brundabati Nivas’ in Puri to celebrate Kartika Brata. On this occasion, three Habisiyalis Urmila Patnaik of Ganjam, Sabitri Bindhani of Mayurbhanj and Dolimani Naidu of Puri expressed their opinion regarding this new facility and said that the Chief Minister has provided all the facilities for us including safe stay and food. They also sought the blessings of Lord Jagannath for the Chief Minister’s long life.

Secretary to the Chief Minister (5T) V.K. Pandian coordinated the programme. Puri MLA, Zilla Parishad Chairman, Management Committee members and other senior citizens attended the programme. Puri District Collector delivered the welcome speech while the Additional District Magistrate gave the vote of thanks.
