Berhampur- 5 Gamblers Arrested, Rs 3.5 Lakh In Cash Seized

Berhampur:On Kumar Purnima (Sunday) five people have been arrested for allegedly gambling and Rs3.5 lakh in cash was seized on Kumar Purnima in Berhampur police district,
Police said on Sunday the Digapahandi Police had conducted a raid at Anchala Club,Punkikyan junction and arrested 5 five professional gamblers with seizure of Cash Rs.3.5 lakhs.
Many consider gambling as a tradition from Dashami to Kumar Purnima, one of the most popular festivals of Ganjam in Odisha.
