Bishnu Sahu Assistant Executive Engineer In Vigilance Net

Berhampur:The Vigilance on Friday carried out raids on the premises of Assistant Executive Engineer Bishnu Charan Sahu on charges of possession of disproportionate assets.
Sahu works as the Assistant Executive Engineer of Irrigation Baghua Project, Bhanjanagar Irrigation Division in Ganjam district.
Simultaneous searches are being conducted by the Odisha Vigilance led by an Additional SP-ranked officer with a warrant issued by Special Judge Vigilance, Berhampur, the Vigilance said.
According to reports, searches are on at seven places in Ganjam district and an inquiry is also in progress, the anti-corruption agency added.During house searches so far, assets unearthed include;
Cash Rs.1,38,000/-.
One three storeyed building at Berhampur.
One double storeyed building at Berhampur.
2 plots at Berhampur.
Bank, Postal & Insurance deposits approx Rs.40 Lakhs.
One Hyundai car (benami) in the name of a Contractor.
3 two wheelers.
Details of other investments / assets are being ascertained.
Vigilance Technical Wing is carrying out detailed measurement and assessment of the buildings.
